I have never been one for new year’s resolutions – I believe change and goals can come at any point in the year. This year, however, I am feeling a little bit different. At the end of last January, I told myself that I would finally make a food Instagram to share my love of food and cooking. I got a little tipsy one night and finally made the Instagram – the only person I told was my husband who sat next to me and encouraged me to publish it. I wanted to keep it my secret as I was not sure if I was ready to put myself out there, well about a week later the rest of my family found it and there was no more hiding (sometimes I need the extra nudge). Six months later, I finally made this blog, something I had been talking about doing for YEARS. Flash forward to today, 2022 has ended and I did the things I told myself I would finally do, but I never fully committed to them – it was just out there for fun. This year I am making a goal for myself: devote more time and energy to what I am passionate about and maybe just maybe I can start what would be my dream career. I am going to try to hold myself more accountable by posting more consistently on here, on my Instagram, Tik Tok, and Pinterest. And not just posting to post but trying to create more meaningful and helpful content. I believe that I have a unique perspective and voice on food and I am hoping all that are interested will follow along as I navigate this journey.

Cheers to 2023 and to much more cooking, food, and eating!
Here are some of my favorite food memories of 2022.
